Campus Yards

A large, open area in front of the main building. In the center of the area is a beautiful garden, with red and white flowers in Pokéball patterns and a grand marble fountain in the middle of it all. Tiny water Pokémon such as Horsea or Finneon are often put in these fountains. Paths surround this garden, and trees and neatly trimmed hedges surround these paths. On the outskirts of the yards are tall hills, topped with dandelions and wildgrass. From these hills is a great view of the waters and Azula's skyline on Lua Island.

Wataru Recreational Building

A building located on the northernmost part of the island. Larger than the Pierce building, it is used for recreational and artistic purposes. The Wataru building includes a swimming pool, an auditorium, some spare classrooms for art and music, and a few empty conventional rooms. Outside there is a track and a large field for various sports.

Dormitory Building

A large, hollowed, square building. The students of the academy stay here, in dorms that resemble fancy apartments. These are shared by three roommates. All rooms surround a massive aquarium, connected to the ocean, in which a person can view through a window in their dorm. This window will always have a curtain, of course.

Poké Center

Heal your Pokémon here. Poké centers are an interesting lounge, especially if you are far from home. They include Poké marts, a healing center, a common room with televisions and couches, and rooms to stay in for the night. If you are out of town and it is dark, you should head here.

Beaches

The beaches along the east and west shores are white sanded and beautiful. Not many people visit this island that are not students, so you tend to get your privacy. The waters are a sparkling, seafoam green.

Crustle Cove

Located at the southern tip of the island. Crustle Cove is a dangerous area, a cliff looking over a small, secluded beach. Its name comes from the cubular, massive rocks that sit out in the waters, resembling Crustle. If you happen to make it down to the beach, which the academy does not condone, you will find a peculiar cave with many interesting Pokémon...

Battle Facility

Located and taking up most of the island's southern half. The biggest Pokémon battle facility in the Kanapa region, and one of the top ten in the world. Created a year before the academy and still the main focus of the island to outsiders, the facility is host to many important tournaments and battles. It has strengthened Kanapa's fame in the world. In the facility are three small fields, creating a triangle around one large field. These fields are used for simultaneous tourney battles, with the most important being in the middle. They are capable of terrain changes, and are technologically extraordinary. The Academy often has free use to the complex, for it was created by the same people who built the complex. Outside of the complex are pathways, often populated with venders and merchants. The fields themselves are surrounded by stadium seats, because they are stadiums after all.

Kikorangi City

A city and capital of the Kanapa Region, it lines Lua Island's inner crescent. You can see the city from Moonlight Holm, and vice versa. Kikorangi City is the most tourist heavy area in the Kanapa Region, offering a variety of things to do, and is accessible from the academy via a short ferry ride. Its skyline is pretty, but the stars are considered a better sight.

Power Plant

Populated by mechanics and electricians, this keeps the whole of Azula powered via underground wiring systems, due to the island's proximity to Lua Island. Electric Pokémon roam in and around this building, once having settled there for attraction to the electricity.

Clay Field

Not exactly a field, it is rather a rocky terrain outside of Waiwera Town that young travelers like to train at. It is home to many Pokémon, mostly ground and fire types. Watch out, for there are still springs out here, and these aren't as pleasant as the ones in the town. They are uncomfortably hot and often contain fire Pokémon droppings... Named after the red, clay terrain that dominates the area.

Burnlands

At the northernmost part of the island is the Kanapa Region's dormant volcano. Underground, it is often bubbling with lava. However, it hasn't fully erupted in hundreds of years, since before the creation of Waiwera Town. Fire Pokémon are always found here, some very powerful, but the danger is undeniable.

Floodlands

Palpia Island's southern area is a steady slope, resulting in a shallow flood moving downwards and into the sea. This is a dangerous area, marked as so by many signs, as the floods lead over a cliff and into the ocean's rocky shore.

Coral Castle

Underwater and off the coast of Venn Island is a spectacular reef, vivid with color and different Pokémon. Within the reef is a strange shelter believed to have been created by some ancient Water type Pokémon. Many scuba dive and explore it, and a few unique Pokémon seem attached to its inner chasms. Outside pictured in site background.
